Can You Use Bin Pulls On Cabinet Doors

I have been known to install pulls horizontal on base cabinet doors just to maintain that line. On closer inspection this turns out to be a swing down door that most likely hides a dishwasher. My personal preference is long horizontal pulls running the length of the base cabinets whether they re drawers or doors.
